I agree with the Colorado Farm & Food Alliance that protecting our farm, food and drink economy should be a top priority in land use decisions, and when considering energy development on nearby lands.

Colorado’s quality ingredients depend on healthy land, sustainable farms, and a reliable supply of clean water, which is also key to our famous beers and award-winning wine and spirits.These lands and resources are incredibly important to our economy.

We must be smart about the needs of Colorado communities and our entire landscape by ensuring fracking and drilling do not harm our farms and ranchland, and must always prioritize the protection of our water.
